USA Swimming Membership is required for each swimmer. $35.00 for Short Course Season only - $55.00 for Short & Long Course Season
Marlin Fee Schedules: One-time fee for the Season Monthly fee* $200.00 first child $55.00 first child $100.00 second child $30.00 second child $ 50.00 each child thereafter $17.50 each child thereafter
*Swimmers who participate on the Mandan Braves boys swim team who wish to swim with the Marlins before/after the Braves’ season will be charged for one full month according to the monthly fee schedule.
Meet Registration: Meet registration forms will be available on line and at the pool in your family folder file. Please fill out meet registration forms, place the registration form in the file folder box for Meet Registration and place your payment in the payment lock box by the meet deadline date. MMSC pays for all meet entries at the time of the meet. Payment for meet registrations will need to be current in order to register for additional meets.
Communication: Please provide MMSC with an email address that you check regularly as we will pass on pertinent information that way. Each family will also have a folder in the Family File container located in the southwest corner of the pool under the announcer’s loft. Have you swimmer check their family file folder regularly. Parent meeting minutes will be available on our website and password protected.
Questions/Ideas/Thoughts/Concerns: We value input from all of our swimming families. If you have any questions, ideas, thoughts, or concerns please contact one of the MMSC Board Members. Areas of concern needing to be addressed by the board as a whole should be submitted in writing. A good resource for all families is our Parent/Swimmer Handbook available on our website. Hare copies of this handbook are available for review at the pool. Is there information that would be helpful to have posted on our website? Share your idea with a member of the board.
Volunteering: Like most clubs, we rely on parent volunteers to help with events and activities in order to provide the best program possible for members who enjoy competitive swimming. When parents volunteer their time all day at our home meets we only charge the LSC fee of $3.50 for each swimmer. You will not have to pay the meet registration fee and individual event fee. The success of our club depends on the support of parent volunteers.
We will need volunteers at the following times:
WDA Concession Help on Saturday, November 5th from 10:30-2:00. Raffle prize donation for our Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser. Mandan hosted swim meet on December 17th, 2011. Mandan hosted swim meet on February 17th through February 19th. Spaghetti supper, raffle and bake sale - February 2012. Recruiting for Ad Sales and New sponsors to help keep our club cost low. Annual Awards potluck - spring 2012.
